Today we tackled the backyard yet again, this time with the help of our friend Carolyn! She was awesome and we actually got some work done on the lower half of the yard and, most notably, chopped down all the giant, pink-stalked poison-berried weeds that have taken over most of the beds. You can now see all the way to the back of the yard from the front of the yard! Magical. Our backyard is looking less and less like a jungle all the time...
Carolyn came over around 10 this morning and we worked for a good 2.5 hours before we broke for lunch—which she brought! She made this delicious artichoke dip which we dipped Wheat Thins and carrots in and just loved. She thoughtfully shared the recipe with us, so now I will share it with you:
The Most Delicious Artichoke Dip
1 can of artichoke hearts
1/2 c. mayo
1/2 c. shredded Parmesan
Mix. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Dip and enjoy!
Super easy, right? And super good! We need to have a party so we have a reason to make some and use up some of the giant thing of mayo we still have left over from the conference.... (Or we could just make some for us and eat it forever. Also a possibility.)
