I bought this shirt yesterday and I really liked it, but the neck was a little too big and swoopy, making it impossible to wear without a tank top or maybe even a whole t-shirt on underneath. The problem with any kind of shirt layering though was that then I didn't get to enjoy the soft and flowy fabric on my wonderful self, so I came up with a solution: I sewed some scrap fabric from an
old project into the neck to make it not as low and wide and 80s. It was a little tricky to get it to lay right and it's still not perfect, but what is? It makes me happy to wear.

when i first read the title of this blog, i thought it said "shi* alliteration." i gasped in horror. then i thought it said "shirt alliteration." then i read it to see how a shirt could be alliterative. then i didn't feel like my all my questions were answered. so i took a third gander at the title and read "shirt alteration."
apparently i'm mildly retarded.
